‘I’m not a doctor, but these two sisters are’ is how I shared details of this new book on launch day last week.
Dr Shireen Kassam is the founder of Plant Based Health Professionals, a dynamic resource which aims to educate healthcare professionals and the general public alike whilst empowering individuals to take control of their own health and share what they learn with patients, friends and their families.
Speaking our language there!
The book’s laid out in a Q&A style, the science is there to back up their answers too – adding it to our Nutrition books directory tout de suite.

‘5 Belly Buttons Bowler’ joined our Healthy Mind podcast resource this week. Kate has been unkindly called: ‘The lady who’s famous because she’s dying’. Really…
We often hear ‘Good things happen to good people’. We see the #Blessed hashtag. We repeat the cliché ‘Everything happens for a reason’. So what reason exactly is there for this beautiful 35 year old lady, mum to a toddler, living with Stage 4 cancer?
Is cancer God’s plan? A character test? Payback time?
The TED Talk below has received 3.7M views so far. It is powerful.
‘Life is so beautiful and life is so hard.’ Indeed, Kate Bowler, indeed.
Anyone watching his series Afterlife on Netflix (the third and final was released last week) will note that Mr Gervais has a wicked sense of irony and humour, but his heart’s pure when it comes to our furry friends.
Good to see yet another high profile person share their personal choices when it comes to diet and ethics.
The series are a sobering reminder of the reality of losing a loved one to cancer.
We slammed him last week, seems we’re not the only ones. Plant Based News shared this on their Twitter feed.
Much to love about this dish: It’s healthy, plant-based and all of that, but also the fact that it was supplied to the Doctors Kitchen website by Penny Brohn UK who are a fantastic UK-based cancer charity:
(Dr Rupy launched his new app today and unfortunately this recipe for Red Lentil Masala Curry is no longer on his website).
Is this not the best New Year’s Resolution you’ve seen?
These two (Fearne Cotton and Dr Rangan Chatterjee) just got together on Dr Chatterjee’s ‘Feel Better, Live More’ Apple No1 podcast.
You can listen here. Can we have more of this in our world?
