Goldenballs

Mrs Victoria Beckham’s pet name for her husband David.

Many call them The Golden Couple; this documentary shows another side too: ‘I don’t think I’ve ever talked about it just because I can’t’ David says. ‘I felt very vulnerable and alone’. His former team-mate Roy Keane says Becks had a choice after his sending off when England captain in a World Cup semi-final – sink or swim. We know which one he chose – just shows that our mental health is not protected by wealth or fame and boy, does it need protecting.

She did it! 21km/13miles – one week’s training. Oh to be 19 again… Thank you to our dear Hélène for raising an incredible £872 pounds currently – we’ve no doubt she’ll reach her £1k target. 61 people have supported her so far, there’s still time to help her reach that final goal. Monies raised go towards allowing us to continue the important work that is helping so many.

Juice money from the weekend’s Octobre Rose event in our little village: It’s Breast Cancer awareness month in France currently and we were delighted to introduce our local neighbours to the benefits of fresh vegetable juices and delicious smoothies. A hit by the looks of it!

Minnie The Moocher is running the Bathalf!

This little superstar is running to raise money – for us!

We’ve had an expensive time of late: Website hosting fees, business cards, banners…

She’s already at 32% of her £1K target – can you help her get ‘over the line’?

And before anyone points it out – her name is not Minnie – she bought the £50 (!) entry ticket from an injured friend.  We’re glad she did – thank you Helene for your donation to our work – which stands at £321 as I type… You can give here.

Balthalf Marathon

Meantime we’re running a ‘transfer the website to a new platform’ marathon: Ending 3 years with GoDaddy MOVING to a new WordPress site.

Why?  Unlimited content, much more flexibility, an efficient search engine and a TRANSLATION function!  Many of our site visits are from non-anglophones and let’s face it, the information we share is for everyone’s benefit!

Sun’s going down after another day at a rather beautiful desk.  No complaints here…

More MOVEMENT in an article published in the Flourish digital magazine last week.  You can read how movement helped me when healing from breast cancer here.

Another job this week is getting juice and smoothie recipes printed for this event on Saturday.  Double-zero will be offering samples of detoxing and energising drinks to all – and selling them for charity too.  Come and see us!  (Hoping our new banner arrives in time…)

Cancer prevention is key; the World Health Organisation states that 50% of all cancers can be prevented by dietary and lifestyle changes.

MOVE folks!

Through all the busyness I’ll always find time to MOVE in the morning light.  As the sun rises there’s a special kind of energy.  How stunning is this?

‘Wild Hope’ says this lovely lady’s t-shirt.  It’s the name of her new book that was released last month.  It’s a best-seller that will MOVE you and she was at the BBC this week sharing excerpts on national radio.  Delighted for you Donna Ashworth, we’ve carried your work for a couple of years now, but it was only whilst moving our blogs to the new server that I realised you were behind the Ladies Pass It On Facebook group that’s been running for years.

Few overnight successes last, you are far from that, consistency is key and you’ve built your platform slowly, consistently, over years now.  A well-deserved and long-term success awaits.

Enjoy, dear one.

Nicky Newman laughing

The mantra of a beautiful soul who inspired so many

Who was singing songs and dancing in Disneyland Paris last month.  Who was walking the catwalk at the Neon show earlier in the year for Future Dreams Charity and who sadly died this week.

Nicky Newman was 35 years old and had metastatic stage 4 cancer.  She was an inspiration to her Instagramily (as she called her 333k followers on the social media platform.)  There are over 300k comments on her final post, thanking her for her positivity as she certainly did Go Grab Life – the all too little that she was given.  Rest in Peace dear lady.

Simon Bartlett and Simon Alexander Ong

One day he’s standing with Steven Bartlett (Diary of a CEO), the next Jue James (one of our dear Contributors.)

‘Standing on the shoulders of giants’ once more…

Simon Alexander Ong is a life-coach.  His book Energize focuses on: ‘The art and science of energy management.’

1.  How to identify your most productive time of day.

2.  Why slowing down can actually help you to speed up.

3.  Why energy is infectious and how to make the most of that.

4.  How to set boundaries with people and time.

5.  How to create energetic friendships and networks.

6.  How to make the most out of every single moment and achieve more than you ever thought possible.

Nicky Newman was a GREAT example – Go Grab Life!

Another inspiring lady is featured above:

Julia Bradbury is a British TV presenter who has re-examined her life since being diagnosed with breast cancer two years ago.

She now gets outside every day, as she promised herself she would, after surgery for a mastectomy.  She’s taken what she’s learned and released a book this week.  She believes walking is a superpower – we’re inclined to agree.

Julia Bradbury's book, walk yourself happy

The book features ideas to improve your health, which are supported by experts and based in science.

It talks of the benefits of walking to our mental health, how getting outside in the morning light can re-engineer our day, how meditative walking benefits us, how important restorative sleep is, what part breath work plays in our health.

If you can’t engage with nature outside, for whatever reason, bring it in and fill your home with plants.  However you do it – GREEN ‘Energize’s us!

Hope – from Dr Rangan Chatterjee on his Feel Better, Live More podcast this week:

‘When I started medical school in 1995, we were taught that one in four people was likely to develop cancer in their lifetime. Today, that statistic has changed to one in two – a rapid rise that can’t be explained by genetics. But if our modern diet and lifestyles are the cause, we have more control than we might think.’

This is fascinating – a completely different way to consider cancer: It’s not random, it’s often non genetic, so can we lower our risk?  Professor Seyfried believes so…

Dr Thomas Seyfried

Yes to Life are the UK’s only integrative cancer charity.  They bring together Professor Seyfried’s metabolic theory and conventional treatments.  Their annual conference has excellent feedback each year.  There are a few tickets left.  Watch out for Denise’s article in their current magazine, which will be shared on social media on October 2nd.  This issue focuses on Movement – Julia Bradbury would approve…

  • No processed meats
  • No supplements (she gets her nutrients from her food)
  • No exercise, but she moves ALL the time

She LOVES to work and turmeric is her friend.  A belated 102nd birthday you legend!

This TED Talk is standing the test of time; it’s 10 years old, but still spot on.

We’ve been recommending Dan’s new Netflix series ‘Live to 100’ to all and sundry, here’s a friend’s comment:

‘I was surprised as I didn’t think it would interest me but thought it fascinating.  Certainly makes you think xx’

It does.  The trailer is here.

Plant-based food is a huge factor in the life of those centenarians and this oven-baked aubergine from a friend’s garden ticks the ‘add years to your life and life to your years’ box.

‘The irony of it all is that, in Copenhagen, nobody is fat — everyone cycles, the food is fresh and healthy. This is a business built on exports, mainly to the US.’

‘Last year, two thirds of Denmark’s growth came from pharmaceuticals alone’. ‘Novo Nordisk’s workforce in there: it employs 22,000 people in Denmark, 55,000 worldwide. Last week it hired another 700’.

On other matters: ‘The European Medicines Agency is investigating a possible link between semaglutide drugs and patients experiencing suicidal thoughts.’  That’ll dint the share price…

Nivea Men deodorant

A shocker: Zero out of 100 for this product, which is so widely advertised and purchased.

The zero comes from:

BHT – Butylated hydroxytoluene, which has demonstrated endocrine disruptive effects, particularly on thyroid function.  It may also have effects on the sex hormones and may affect fertility and development.

Cyclomethicone – Over the long term, this silicone has exhibited endocrine disruptive properties.  It also contains cyclotertrasiloxane, a silicon that is toxic for reproduction.  Silicones are also of high concern for the environment.

Aluminium chlorohydrate – Chronic exposure to aluminum salts may have toxic effects.

Yuka is a free independent app, which we often use.  Scary stuff.  Of interest, it recommended Narta’s Magnesium Protect as an alternative, with a score of 90/100.

We Have The Might

31 August 2023|Health, Nutrition, Recipes, Sustainability

Humans may have been given dominion over other species, but by having this ‘might’ does it make it ‘right’ to abuse them?

Calf in a cage

Because we are.  Every day.  Millions of them.  Every single day.  Dominion film is free to watch on YouTube.  You can click here for their website and choose to watch the trailer or film.  I couldn’t manage to see it all the way through, which is why the trailer isn’t directly featured here.  A harrowing, but essential watch to educate us all as to the truth of what really happens with animal agriculture. I got up to ‘rabbits’ on my first attempt.  Deep breaths.

Cartons of milk

Then we waste gallons of their milk: The USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) requires a carton of cows milk to be placed on every tray for schools to be reimbursed via the National School Lunch program.

Unbelievably, according to their own findings, 29% are thrown in the bin, unopened.  ($300M of taxpayers money).

Despite a huge percentage of children being lactose intolerant the USDA only reimburse the schools for the cost of the meals if dairy is provided to the children.

A serving of a plant milk is not currently an option.

Trays of cooked figs and mirabelle plums

The freezer’s full, we’ve eaten stacks, given away more and are now cooking and stewing the remainder.

Make haste while the sun shines…

Inside A Therapy Session

24 August 2023|Health, Nutrition, Recipes, Research papers, Sustainability, Testimonials

Repair.  Restore.  Heal.

This powerful new award-winning film moved us, just as it did Dr Gabor Maté.  It’s all about relationships; the baggage we bring to them, often without ever connecting the dots as to why.  It’s free to watch if you choose, or you can choose to donate to their work.  Powerful lessons for our mental health.

One man giving another man a hug

Ross Lee

This young man ended up homeless after his parents’ divorce.

A love of gardening saved him, he says it ‘gave him a purpose.’  We all need that.

Ross Lee now has a huge social media following, has appeared on TV and now works as a garden designer.  You can read how he repaired, restored and healed here.

Cinnamon, Green bean and Mushroom Curry

Something that repairs, restores and heals many is food. Our food choices matter.

Here’s last night’s supper, a delicious curry from The Doctor’s Kitchen aka Dr Rupy Aujla, whose food we love.

This cinnamon, green bean and mushroom curry recipe is on the Doctor’s and our sites.

There’s 1000’s more healthy recipes

to discover too.

Popped into the sitting room to tell everyone supper was ready – and there was Dr Rupy cooking away on the TV! If you’re in the UK you can watch his shows on IPlayer, link here.

These folk work on a preventative basis, so they have nothing to repair, restore or heal from.  This is a trailer from ‘Live to 100: Secrets of the Blue Zones’ a 4 part series which is available on Netflix from next Wednesday (30 August 2023).  He travels to The Blue Zones, 5 communities where ‘people live extraordinarily long and vibrant lives.’  Yes, just yes!

Clothes hanger collection box, next to bin of empty plastic water bottles

Let’s add recycle to the list.

Saw this huge cardboard box at the entrance to our local hypermarket.

‘Help yourself’ says the box.  The bin next to it is full of plastic bottles that’ll be recycled too.

Excellent.

Oranges being juiced

Autumn’s almost upon us in the Northern hemisphere.  Lots of talk of new viruses.  Interesting article from Dr Gary Gonzalez at Life Extension: ‘Human studies show that elderberry, zinc, and vitamin C, taken in the early stages of a cold or flu, can activate the body’s immune functions and shorten the duration.’

Zinc and Vitamin C were certainly part of the protocol many were taking over the past 3 years – with seemingly good results.  We’d throw Vitamin D into the mix too – lots of research showing its protective benefits when we’re not getting it naturally from the sun during the winter months.

This is a screenshot taken by an American cancer patient of the dietary recommendations from her oncologist.  Then we see an updated article: ’20 Links Between Sugar and Cancer’ from Chris Woollams (Oxford Uni trained biochemist and founder of CancerActive, which we’ve featured on our cancer resource since Day One).  Refined white breads, rolls, bagels, biscuits, muffins… Speechless.

Smoothie time with yet more garden produce!  Our Nutribullet is well used, mainly because it’s powerful, easy to use and all importantly easy to clean, not too hard on the pocket either.

Here’s the recipe for this refreshing peach one:

3 peaches, handful of frozen blueberries, tsp of chia seeds, banana, coconut water and filtered water.

Naturally sweet with NO ADDED SUGAR.

‘Train a child in the way he should go’ (Proverbs 22:6 ESV).

These were our youngest’s offerings yesterday afternoon.  Her first, but not last, attempt at acai bowls:

Frozen acai pulp (antioxidants), chopped banana (Vit C/Potassium), home-made (but not by me!) peanut butter (healthy fats/high quality protein), desiccated coconut (high energy/fibre), pumpkin seeds (healthy fats/magnesium/zinc/, dark chocolate buttons (high in fibre/iron/magnesium) and (for some bizarre reason) AllBran (fibre).

A very well balanced afternoon treat.

The Safest Food Supply In The World

17 August 2023|Health, Nutrition, Recipes, Research papers, Sustainability

Really?  We don’t think so

This shocker of a documentary will prove that that well rehearsed and repeated claim from US scientists and government officials is far from accurate.

‘Poisoned’ is a new Netflix documentary. ‘A shocking indictment of the food industry and its regulators’.  It exposes how ‘the American food supply and its consumers (have been left) vulnerable to deadly pathogens like e. Coli and salmonella’.

Spoiler – the culprits are not the crops and animals themselves, but the water supply that the crops are sprayed with and the appalling conditions the poor animals are forced to endure. One to add to our Nutrition Film resource.

Emmanuel Macron. Stop glyphosate campaign.

Talking of poison: Worrying times as the leaders in the European Union will decide by December 2023 whether to extend the licence for glyphosate to be used for the next FIFTEEN YEARS.

Part of Emmanuel Macron’s re-election campaign was a pledge to ‘phase out glyphosate in France “by the latest” at the beginning of 2021.’ Sadly he has not kept that promise.

We’ve already headed over to Foodwatch France and signed the petition, along with another 536,122 people (as we type.)

The campaign to stop it’s usage is supported by many well known ecological groups – and France’s ‘la Ligue Contre le Cancer‘ – yes, glyphosate is a carcinogen.

Here‘s an article from The Guardian UK about its effects on humans.

Very worrying.

Tofu pasta salad

Been a busy, social week this past week, which usually means leftovers and random lunches.  Here’s a well-balanced one:

Tofu – sliced and pan fried in extra virgin olive oil for a few minutes. – Protein

Wholewheat fusilli pasta. – Carbs

Reheated pan-friend aubergine (still being used up from a friend’s garden) – Antioxidants

Sliced carrot and cabbage (reduced at the sushi counter in our local supermarket) Vit C

Flatleaf parsley (part of a reduced fruit and veg box at our local supermarket) – Antioxidants

Sesame seeds – Protein and Fibre

Sliced avocado – healthy Fats

Salt and pepper

Another nutritional, easy lunch.  Boom.

Hari & Co packaged meals

Not feeling so virtuous after buying and eating these for lunch later in the week… You know how it goes, sometimes there’s just no time/desire to cook from scratch, however easy it may be.

Ingredients list from a Hari&co product

But… this is processed food, not ultra-processed food.  The difference?  If you don’t understand what any of the ingredients are, it’s likely ultra-processed, way worse for your health.  This one is made of basic ingredients, which are organic, low in sugar, no additives.  So if you’re going to buy quick and easy and ready prepared, this wasn’t a bad option.  You can find more from Hari&Co here.

Raw almonds

Here’s another component of the fruit and veg box we picked up as the supermarket opened on Monday morning: fresh almonds.

Another first, but not last.  More of a delicate flavour than dried or roasted almonds – simply crack open the shell (teeth, or nutcracker) and enjoy.

SO good for us too:

  • They preserve more of their naturally occurring nutrients, such as antioxidants and vitamin E.
  • They contain fewer calories and less fat content per gram.
  • They contain less sodium.
  • They contain fewer harmful free radicals.

Why are so many people feeling stressed right now?  ‘Something’s out of line’ says Dr Maté.  This is a fascinating watch, from a fascinating doctor, who focuses on treating the cause, not just the symptoms; Dr Gabor Maté:

Two England Ladies footballers

JOY.  These Lionesses are feeling it!

England’s women’s football team is through to the World Cup Final for the first time.

We love this photograph – we’ll see if football’s ‘coming home’ or not on Sunday, as they face Spain in the final game of the tournament.

Outdoor dining table set for a meal, with fresh flowers

A great de-stresser for us is dinner with friends.  The Blue Zones (the 5 areas in the world with the longest living, healthiest populations) show community as a factor in determining longevity.

This could be the opposite for some; a huge cause of stress.

What works for you?  Find out what it is – and do it!

Stocked larder with open doors

An example of what does NOT work for us as a de-stressor.  The result however is very aesthetically pleasing.

You can find the science of why that is so from the likes of Marie Kondo et al, on our Sustainability resource.

Reduce, re-organise and recycle…

Septuagenarian Vibes

70 years old and running 5K every other day

Eloquent, humble, smart and looking so, so good; this is Dr Neal Barnard, founder of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, a near 40 year vegan and a great advertisement for a whole food plant based healthy lifestyle!

Great interview by Leif from The Vegan Gym, who flipped his life after a cancer diagnosis in 2013.

See how Dr Barnard took on the US government – and won….

Your Body in Balance book

One of Dr Barnard’s books that he references in the interview is on offer this month on Amazon Kindle UK and US.

‘The science behind how common hormone-related conditions—like infertility, weight gain, menopausal symptoms, breast and prostate cancers, thyroid problems, and acne—can be affected by and improved by simple diet changes.’

It’s a great read – and a really great price this month too.

Man in sunglasses walking

10,000 steps a day?  Is that the magic number for health?

Actually it’s more about getting that heart rate up says Dr Jo Blodgett, an epidemiologist at University College London. “The number of steps doesn’t account for how fast people are walking. We know that the faster you walk, the more cardiovascular benefit you’ll gain, so it might be better to take fewer steps but at a faster pace.”

Step it up Mister!

You can read the full article from last week’s Sunday Times here.

Yellow watermelon

‘Watermelon sugar High’ sang Harry Styles on his recent World Tour.

He’s not wrong, watermelons have a plethora of benefits for our bodies: ‘Supports healthy flow of toxins and waste matter from the kidneys and it is incredibly alkaline-forming. It helps reduce body fat, improves the health of our eyes, and so much more.’ Carly Fraser founder of Live Love Fruit shares.

She goes on to explain why we should eat the seeds too:

  • High in magnesium
  • Rich in lycopene
  • High in animo acids
  • Rich in B vitamins
  • High copper content
  • Contain essential fatty acids
  • High in phosperous
  • Rich in zinc

Confession – I get little pleasure from cleaning.

I know all the ‘be grateful you have a home to clean’ mantras, but it is not my pastime of choice.

However, these were recommended by a girlfriend and they made the job a whole lot easier.

But Where Do You Get Your Protein?

3 August 2023|Health, Nutrition, Recipes, Sustainability, Testimonials

Fiona Oakes running

If we’ve been asked this once…

We’ve been asked it a thousand times.  Yes, there are differences between animal and plant protein, but, what is it that cows, pigs and chickens eat?  Oh yes, plants.  Vegans just ‘cut out the middle man’ and many not only survive, but are some of the fittest.

Fiona Oakes is a case in mind.  Last month she came 10th in the Rio marathon and has now run a marathon on all 7 continents.  In fact she holds 4 world records (verified by the Guinness World Book of Records). Prepare to be inspired by her and other Great Vegan Athletes

Can we mention plant-based sports stars such as Sir Lewis Hamilton MBE HonFREng – world class British racing driver, or Novak Dyokovic – Serbian tennis player currently ranked no2 in the world?  Ok, point made.

Instagram message re activated charcoal

This Instagram comment has had our largest number of ‘likes’ since we opened the account.  3000 and counting.  Clearly resonated.  Activated charcoal has also been heralded as an effective detox for the effects of long Covid and post injection against Covid issues too.

Humans have used it to clean their bodies for centuries.  Here’s Dr Josh Axe’s article on activated charcoal.

How to go plant-based book cover

We’ve bought 3 of these books so far… One for home, one for our daughter to use whilst at university and one for a dear friend’s birthday.

It’s 99p/ $1.04 on Amazon UK/US Kindle this month.

A steal.

1000’s of healthy recipes are on our site, including Ella’s, of course.

A happy, healthy you book cover, a salad and fresh juice

This week’s reading was a bittersweet gift from our friend who runs amazing Nourish wellness retreats at her blissful ‘Manoir’.

It was a ‘sweet’ gift; thoughtful, beautifully illustrated, packed with nutritional advice and colourful recipes.

A ‘bitter’ one; as it was published posthumously by the author’s parents.  Caroline sadly died of breast cancer in 2020 before seeing her work in print.

We found a few copies for sale via various Amazon sellers.  Part of Caroline’s legacy.

Look who joined me for coffee on the terrace this week.  Google Lens (who knew my phone could do this?) tells me he/she is a lesser purple emperor (apartura ilia).  A species of butterfly native to most of Europe.

Great for our mental and physical health to get outside and sharing my coffee in nature with an emperor certainly works for me.

Cold-play = Green-result

The hunt for tickets was on

Thoughts of the environmental impact were far behind.  Then we saw this:  Coldplay’s website details their co2 emissions, power usage, travel costs, stage show sourcing, an app for fans to see how to travel most efficiently, water usage, minimise waste, a sustainable crew catering system, ethically sourced merchandise, that ‘good causes’ are given 10% of everything they earn, they support nature projects, and they share all this to encourage others.

Going to be a great show next year!

Dan Buettner with photographs of The Blue Zones

We’ve featured The Blue Zones concept on our site since day one.  Looking forward to this 4 part Netflix documentary that will be aired next month.

The Blue Zones are the 5 places in the world where people live the longest, healthiest: Okinawa, Japan; Sardinia, Italy; Nicoya, Costa Rica; Ikaria, Greece, and Loma Linda, California. They believe that movement, a plant-slant diet, relationships, a sense of purpose and having a faith, all lengthen lifespans.

‘What is cancer trying to heal in you?’ Asks dear Dr Nasha Winters in her personal testimony:

At the age of 19, she was: ‘Diagnosed with end-stage ovarian cancer and given 3-6 months to live. Crippled with pain, nausea, infections, malnourishment, and muscle wasting, I was uninsured and out of options. But I was also young, naïve, and stubborn. It was up to me to dig deep and find hope. The diagnosis of terminal cancer suddenly shook me awake.

Since that diagnosis in 1991, the years have unfolded as a journey that I continue to this day. What began as a pursuit to heal my own body has evolved into a global mission to transform cancer care.’

She’s an inspiration to us and so many more.  Her work is featured on our cancer resource, go Dr Nasha!

Packet of Lucky Strike cigarettes and Marlboro cigarette carton

‘Smoking causes heart attacks‘ says the packet of 20 Lucky Strikes.  Maybe ‘Lucky’ is not the right word for this product?  It’s true that ‘smoking seriously harms you and others around you’ – in any language you choose to speak it in.

Smoking means you inhale a number of cancer-causing chemicals, like polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, which are known to cause breast cancerBreast Cancer UK

Girl with long, red hair vaping

Think vaping’s any better?  Think again.  Often with nicotine and a whole load of other toxic chemicals it’s addictive, cheaper than most cigarettes, marketed to the young and a ticking bomb for health.

Here’s the US Government’s dictionary of vaping devices and substance explanation.

Scary.  Very scary.

A lit scented candle

That was a heavy couple of articles.  Let’s light a scented candle and relax – or maybe not…

This article from Live Love Fruit claims that ‘regular scented candles are actually a major source of indoor air pollution’.

The article is backed up by research to support it and will have you thinking not only about which fragrance you would like in your home, but asking what is it and the candle itself made of?

Gnocchi, sliced tomatoes, rocket, salt, pepper and olive oil

Yesterday’s 5 minute (we promise that’s all it took to prep and cook) lunch.

2 x packs of organic gnocchi (pureed potato)

A large handful of rocket (from our garden)

Several sliced tomatoes (from a friend’s garden)

Salt/pepper/olive oil

That’s it.

Delicious.

Dr Lara Briden

Dr Lara Briden shared some good news for endometriosis sufferers on her Instagram feed this week:

‘Yay, the long-awaited follow-up to the 2013 Italian NAC-endometriosis study. This time, they got equally exciting results with significant reductions in pain and shrinking of endometriomas. Interestingly, they dosed it for only three days per week, for reasons they explain in the paper. They also discuss various mechanisms but do not mention what I think is the most important mechanism: NAC converts to glutathione, a powerful immune modulator.’

As the research paper shares: ‘N-acetylcysteine is effective in reducing endometriosis-related pain symptoms, the size of endometriomas and the serum levels of Ca125. Furthermore, it showed a positive impact on patient fertility. NAC may represent a good therapeutic option for symptomatic women with endometriosis and pregnancy desire.’

Stripe Payments Logo

We can now accept donations to our work via Stripe.  They have given us charity status/rates, and any monies will be paid directly into our charity bank account.

Facebook fundraisers have proved challenging: yes, there are no charges – except when they decide to pay your donations to your account in dollars – and your bank charge you 26 euros for conversion.  That was in December 2022.  35 exchanges later, admittance of error later – we still haven’t been refunded.

We’re not mad, or sad – just done.  Welcome Stripe!  Here’s the direct link.  Thank you in advance for supporting our work.  The DZ Team

PS If you would like to make a monthly/quarterly donation do let us know and we’ll set that up for you.
