I spent a couple of days in Old London Town last week (hence the lack of a blog…). On my way back to the train station I took this shot of the changing face of this amazing city.
I want to be the one ‘in the moment’; the lady on the bridge. The one who’s not looking up into his phone, looking down at her phone, or rushing to the next meeting. To be in the present – because it really is just that.

Another free film here. This one’s a thought-provoking family-friendly offering, based of Eckhart Tolle’s multi-million selling works:
When Milton’s optimistic grandfather (Donald Sutherland) comes to visit, he learns the secret to finding true happiness from a man who has seen the world and who has committed to living life in the present. Sign up for your FREE film viewing here
This site joined ours this week: It’s a huge resource, part of which are quizzes:
Do you have symptoms of depression? Do you need physiotherapy? Are you a narcissist? Do you have OCD? How anxious are you? Do you have ADHD?
What’s your personality type? Measure the quality of your sleep? Do you have a paranoid personality disorder? Do you have PTSD? Take the Eating Attitudes Test (EAT-26). Do you have mania? What is your emotional type? Do you think someone you know may have autism? Do you have bipolar disorder? Do you have symptoms of schizophrenia? Do you suffer from domestic violence? Does your child have ADD? What’s your style of romantic attachment?
Note: These tests are not a diagnostic tool. Only a trained medical professional, such as a doctor or mental health professional, can help you determine the next best steps for you.
I was ‘3 Cakes Stevenson’ this week – as I celebrated the beginning of my 54th year in style.
The whole food plant-based offering in my left hand was AMAZING.
It’s a Scott Jurek recipe and it gets my vote!
Scott’s book is featured on our site; he’s an elite athlete and a vegan who inspires runners at every level. His story shows the power of an iron will and the importance of thinking of our food as our fuel.
Inspirational.
Quarantine. Hardly tough when spending it at a dear friend’s home, in the sunshine, eating oats with oat-milk, turmeric, kiwi, pomegranate and banana, drinking green tea and catching up on some reading on my Kindle.
No, not tough at all.
Published on the Ticking Off Breast Cancer site was an article Sara had asked for about my breast cancer experience. You can read it in it’s entirety here.
Thank you for sharing TOBC!
Wishing Sara all the best with her new book, which will be added to our site when it hits the stores in October. You can find her first book here.
