The very first recipients of The Earthshot Prize: 50 solutions to the world’s greatest environmental problems by 2030, were awarded last night.  The categories are:

  • Protect and Restore Nature
  • Clean Our Air
  • Revive Our Oceans
  • Build a Waste Free World
  • Fix Our Climate

And yes, apparently their Royal Highnesses didn’t have new outfits, in keeping with the occasion …

The Earthshot Prize Winners. 5 people

Several past studies have been inconclusive in linking aluminium used in deodorants and breast cancer but two new publications have confirmed the toxic effects of aluminium salts and their carcinogenic potential on breast cells.

The new studies say that the observations, for the first time, identify an environmental chemical that may account for the increase in the incidence of breast cancer.
Aluminium salts are not just used in antiperspirant deodorants but other cosmetic products such as sunscreen too.

We’ve been picking up lots of information from the ‘More than Pink Ribbons’ summit this week.  Here’s the first session, which is focused on detoxing and our lymphatic system.  With the UK government voting on adding fluoride to the country’s tap water this week, it’s timely advice.

Denise Stevenson founded the health and wellness charity Double-zero.org in 2021 after healing from stage 3 breast cancer at (5-zero) and realising there was no one source to access the wealth of resources that had guided her back to health without the mastectomy her oncologist said was a certainty. Denise is a church founder and president, author and local councillor. She's English-born and has French nationality after living there with her husband and 3 girls for the past 20 years.
