A New Season

‘How many decisions do you make in a day? More than you realise: What to have for breakfast, what to wear, how to act towards your friends, family and colleagues, even down to how you manage your work load during the day.
For today: Try to notice how often your decision making skills gets poorer when you’ve:
- Slept poorly and are tired
- Been working on the computer for long periods
- Become overloaded emotionally
- Not done enough stimulating activities or movement.’
Our very talented co-presenter of The Gathering has a new book out! UnRavel Dis-ease Naturally: Season by Season. In it Catherine explains from the perspective of both a patient and integrated health consultant how our mind, body and spirit are actually connected with nature, even down to our decision making skills. ‘From an integrated perspective, this particular skill is associated with the Spring and your gall bladder’ she says.
It seems our ‘gut reaction’ really is a thing…
‘Health is the new wealth’ states the banner at the amazing sports facilities of Bath University in the UK which we visited last week with our youngest.
Indeed. Nothing else is worth much without it.
Another new book being released this week. This time from the ‘Plant-Based Gynae’ and her nutritionist daughter (who you’ll hear much more of as she features in Deliciously Ella’s book that comes out this August).

Where else could this be than Old London Town?
The sustainability mantra of Re-use, Re-cycle and Re-place at it’s best!
Only one place this could be too. Looks like Her Majesty The Queen was in residence whilst her front gates were being Re-painted too.
Tiredness can be a result of many deficiencies in our body, one of which is magnesium. Other signs of it lacking are:
- Loss of appetite
- Muscle spasms
- Irregular heartbeat and high blood pressure
- Nausea or vomiting
My fave way to supplement is to relax in a warm Epsom salt bath. You HAVE to be there for at least 20 minutes for the full benefits. Shame…

Can’t beat a personal recommendation and this one certainly delivered. Oat milk flat white coffee and a vegan caramelised onion tart.
Delicious. Baked and enjoyed at Bread Source in Norwich, UK.
I was busy thanking the lady’s daughter on Good Friday at church – only to be standing next to the owner and his daughter.
Good job I liked it!
My ‘happy place’, like so many of you reading this I suspect.
There’s something about the sunshine, the sand and the sea that’s just, well, good for my heart and soul.
This is Sea Palling in Norfolk, UK on a sunny April afternoon.
The oft used hashtag #outsideisfree comes to mind.
I’ll be hosting our next Gathering alongside Catherine on Thursday 5 May at 6pm UK time, 7pm CET time. Zoom codes to follow.
