Good Times
8 June 2022|Health, Nutrition, Sustainability
It’s been a while – for so many of us. Let me introduce you to: Oxytocin, Endorphin, Dopamine and Serotonin.
Those feel-good hormones arrived in the guise of good friends. Laughter, good times, so good for the soul.
Currently typing away whilst ‘in transit’. Why has it taken me more than 50 years to experience the pleasure of airport lounges? 4 hours/ 35 euros. As much food/drink as I wish and a relaxed atmosphere after a very long day. Healthy options not a problem. Travel – I have so missed you.
This year’s Food Revolution Summit took place a few week’s ago. Here is Nele from Nutriplanet (a graduate of T Colin Campbell’s Nutrition Studies Plant Based nutrition certificate program) sharing what she learned. (Spoiler, it was a lot)
My track record with what I unkindly call ‘fake cheese’ is not good. Even McDonalds haven’t cracked it (in my humble opinion). I tried a McPlant in the UK recently – the burger tasted like, well, a burger, the cheese, no.
Anyone tried this one?

Dr Akhtar is a double-board certified neurologist and preventative medicine specialist, an author and TEDx speaker.
You can learn more about her insights on the link between emerging health threats and the role of animal exploitation in her new book featured on her website.
Many of our farming methods are not good for either the animals, our planet, or us.
Closer to home now: Willows remind me of my maternal grandmother, she adored sitting beneath them, me too, they’re so graceful and peaceful.
As are the water lillies at this park. Not quite ready, I’ll just have to return. Shame.
Nature, good for the soul.
