Golden Buzzer Girl

‘You can’t wait before life isn’t hard anymore before you decide to be happy.’  Nightbirde is ‘not okay in every way’ in her own words.  This 30 year old has just found her way into the final of this year’s America’s Got Talent.  She has cancer in her lungs, her spine and her liver, giving her a 2% chance of survival.  But as she says ‘2% is not zero %, 2% is something.’  She sounds amazing too.
18M YouTube views in the past 5 days, this young lady, just wow…

Sir David Attenborough seems to be ‘everywhere’ and I for one am grateful for that.  His message is constant:  we still have time, just.  This newly released film is available on Netflix: Conservationist Attenborough and scientist Johan Rockström examine Earth’s biodiversity collapse and how this crisis can still be averted.  Just.

60 minutes of my life this week was spent listening to this FREE audio ‘Masterclass’ from Food Matters.  Excellent use of time:

1.  The Power of Hydration.  Great-looking skin, digestion and gut health, energy levels, and mental focus.

2.  Oils to Use & Which to Avoid.  Fat isn’t the enemy.  We need good fats for optimal brain health.

3.  Issues with Modern Wheat, Plus Healthy Alternatives.  Ancient grains to modern wheat and a look at how it’s been genetically modified. The impacts of grains and gluten on gut health.

4.  Impact of Sugar and 3 of the Best Natural Alternatives. Sugar has become one of today’s most addictive substances and is decreasing your longevity and suppressing your immune system.

5.  Choose and Cook Clean Protein Sources.  Whether you include animal products in your diet or not, it’s important to choose your protein carefully. Explore the best plant proteins and animal proteins for optimal health (get the low down on eggs and fish, too).

6.  Dairy.  Still drinking milk? Explore why this animal bi-product wasn’t created for humans and how it causes inflammation in the body. Plus, learn which dairy products are lower in lactose and might be tolerated on an irregular basis.

7.  The Secret to Building a Perfectly Balanced Meal.  It’s all in the perfect combination of green vegetables, complex carbs, fats, and protein. Learn how to create the optimal meal or smoothie.

Purple radishes Recipes Double-zero

Seasonal veg.  Another level.

Bought these local radishes this morning.

They became part of another ‘boring’ vegan lunch.

And yes, I have added sliced peaches to  the mix, along with artichoke hearts, avocado, lettuce, cucumber, tomato, sprouted alfalfa seeds and sunflower seeds.  I do that.  Freestyle.

Nothing boring about this let me tell you!
