A certain uni student would confidently state, at regular intervals, on her return to our kitchen, as she prepped yet another snack to accompany her late night cramming sessions.  Except it’s not, particularly for the pig concerned.

This articulate young man is now a vegan educator, TEDx speaker and content creator. Ed Winters explores topics surrounding veganism, morality, ethics, communication, and the environment, as well as discussing current events. He has spoken at over 1/3 of UK universities and at 6 Ivy league colleges, including as a guest lecturer at Harvard University.   There are 1000’s of vegan recipes to choose from on our site.

We’ve also been busy adding peer-reviewed medical research papers to each of the Health Conditions sections on the site this week.

As I’m re-listening to the podcast above I’m reflecting on the many research papers we’ve added to the cancer section of the site – cannabis, the results are there in black and white.


I’m such a creature of habit, turning regularly to the site for recipes and checking out The First Mess often.  Here’s ‘another’ of Laura’s easy to prepare offerings: Mushroom risotto (with tofu sausages added for the teen in the room).

To close, here’s my current view.  From left to right: My bible, a salt lamp, pens (never have too many pens…) my trusty Mac, birthday flowers from a dear friend and juice (always juice: today’s is apple, lemon, cucumber, turmeric, ginger, filtered water, a touch of black pepper and flaxseed oil).  Let’s change the world!
