Many of us saw the seemingly ageless Demi Moore at Cannes this year. What many people didn’t realise was why she was there.
The documentary Groundswell – which explores regenerative agriculture, soil health, and the future of our food systems – recently won a Golden Globe documentary award and continues to gain recognition around the world. Ms Moore features in the film, which is available on Amazon Prime from 5 June, here’s the trailer:
Vote for us? Pretty Please…
Whilst Groundswell begins on 5 June, this year’s Yes To Life Award nominations close that day. We would be honoured to add another award to our collection.

Denise’s Recent Talk
Denise recently spoke at the Yes to Life Conference, sharing insights on health, healing, and living well. Her half-hour video presentation is yours for £5 – monies go directly to support the charity’s work.

One of her fellow speakers was an extraordinary woman named Shellie Clark.
In 2019, Shellie was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. The disease had spread to her lymph nodes, adrenal glands, ovaries, lungs, chest wall, soft tissue and brain.
She was given just six months to live.
Today, she continues to inspire audiences with her story, courage and determination. Meeting people like Shellie is a powerful reminder of what is possible.
Speaking of Amazing Work…
This video has attracted more than 2 million views in the past two weeks and is clearly resonating with many people. ‘Insulin Expert Dr. David Unwin has put 157 patients into drug-free Type 2 diabetes remission using diet alone. He reveals the hidden teaspoon of sugar in your everyday food, the link between sugar and cancer, and why the average person will spend 23 years of their life in poor health.’

We’re all just doing our best.
Nature’s Healing Power

Sometimes the smallest things can make a surprisingly big difference.
- You relax – blood pressure lowers.
- Stress hormones begin to fall.
- You inhale natural organic compounds, some of which pass into the bloodstream.
- You feel calmer and more grounded.
Even something as simple as having flowers in your home can positively affect how you feel.
When a Perfect Moment Gets Interrupted

Three nights in a vineyard in northern Spain.
Sunshine.
Green tea on the terrace.
Complete peace.

Then a worker appears among the vines wearing a full hazmat suit and begins spraying.
Moment ruined.
It certainly gives you pause for thought about what may be finding its way into our food and environment.
Broad Bean Season
One of our favourite simple lunches at this time of year:

- Broad beans
- Roasted red peppers
- Quinoa
- Pomegranate seeds
- Chickpeas
- Roasted aubergines
- Olive oil
- Sea salt and black pepper
All organic.
Simple. Colourful. Delicious.
Remember Apeel?
Back in April 2023, we questioned the safety aspects of the Apeel food coating on our blog.
Since then, the company’s stock performance has, according to Yahoo! Finance, “fallen off a cliff.”
Perhaps we were right to ask the questions.

Beach Bliss

A habit we never seem to tire of repeating.
This was Getaria, on Spain’s northern coast, last week.
Fresh air. Open space. The sound of the sea.
